Tell US Your story | Veteran Robert Strunk
We are pleased to be caring for Robert Strunk, PFC in the Army during WWII. He served from March 15, 1943 through July 31, 1945. He was living in San Gabriel, California cutting and forming sheet metal used in aircraft when he enlisted. PFC Strunk was in two or three major battles. During one battle, and as a rifleman on the front line, his feet froze while hunkered in fox holes in Germany. He spent 3 days in a hospital in Paris, transferred to a hospital in England for a short time, then went to Massachusetts and finally to Colorado, where he received his honorable discharge.
Robert received a bronze medal for his service in WWII. We are proud of all of our servicemen. Thank you for your service.
